Hello and welcome to my home decor and lifestyle blog. I am so happy you can join me! I have a passion for design, decor, and travel! I am so happy to have this platform to share some tips on decor, updates on my home, and even some travel blogging! I am currently living in our 3rd home in the Chicagoland area, which we built with the help of a local builder and of course I share it with the people who matter most to me; my husband, Hesham, my 4 kids Minna (18), Sereen (12), Lianna (8), and Zacharia (6). I am a teacher by certificate and a designer by heart.
When we moved into our current home, I had some local ladies over for coffee one morning. One of them insisted that I come help her update her home. I finally agreed and “Reem’s Design” was born. I helped her complete the two front rooms which bothered her most, her dining room and her front office and she absolutely loved it. People have always told me that I had a “knack” or a “really good eye”, and I think I finally believe them, after designing and decorating my own home and 6 other homes in my local area.
Blogging is not new to me, as I run another blog with the help of my husband. My late daughter, Bayan, whom we lost 9 years ago to cancer and a rare genetic disorder, called Ataxia Telengiectasia is my inspiration in everything I do, and she continues to be part of our everyday life.
